Honors Scholars Committee

The BMCC Honors Scholar Program enriches personal and academic growth through course offerings and co-curricular experiences for a diverse and inclusive, high achieving community of BMCC students.

I attend regular committee meetings (in person and virtual) as well as update my colleagues at monthly faculty meetings on Honors Committee activities. I promote the Honors Program within the Music and Art Department, recruiting faculty to develop new Honors courses.

Hosted by BMCC Admissions Dept., I served as a Department Art Major representative at annual BMCC FALL 2024 Open House event:

I talked with prospective students and families in Richard Harris Terrace about the Studio Art and Art History programs at BMCC. I spoke to approximately 20 prospective students, explaining Major requirements, Pathways requirements, and electives.
